Here at Brookside we pride ourselves on the health and wellness of our dogs. With over 25 years experience breeding and 40+ years experience with animal welfare. We look for the perfect fit, not just the quickest fit. We screen our applicants thoroughly to ensure the best placement for them and best personality that fits your lifestyle.
Our puppies are part of our family and if you acquire one so are you!
The skill sets we all carry at Brookside are unrivaled, and have made us very attuned to the right matching of personalities. Many clients have special requests and we aim to find the best match and work with each pup and family one on one. Our goal is a HEALTHY and happy well adjusted best friends or therapy dog for our clients. Your happiness is of utmost importance to us.
Although our dogs travel with us back and forth to our home in Maine we only sell and do visits at our home in MA. Wherever we are, our dogs are with us! NOT farmed out to other people to do the work so that we get the credit. This type of practice is a pet store mentality. Our puppies are our focus not the money.
Although others will try to do what we do, proudly, we compete with no one!

Miss Ali has had ADHD her entire life and although challenging, she has found it more manageable with the help of our therapy dogs and puppies. She graduated at the Essex North Shore Tech with straight A's as an electrician. Now working full time she still finds time to help us and has been a rock for Brookside with love and patience as well as input.
Cavaliers have been a part of her whole life.

Primary cleaner of the yard and payer of the bills as well as a never ending laundry service.
Holding Ruru.
Bo has been in animal welfare for 40+ years. She worked for New England Alive (a wild life rescue and release) and Suffolk Downs as a breeder and birther of track horses. She has also worked for the state of MA as a mental health care worker for 37 years. Her knowledge and understanding of animals and people is unrivaled and hard to match.

Computer genius and lover of all our babies. Also provides a private taxi service at times to transport pups to their new home.
Holding Cashew
Jen has great people skills and worked with Bo in the mental health field. She has since moved into the overall health field by completing her massage therapist degree and managing a massage and wellness center. Her management skills help keep us involved in social media. She makes a great personal pet taxi and is a licensed pet transporter.
She has 3 of our in home breeding dogs.
